What is Valley K-12 Virtual Learning Program?

Valley K-12 Virtual Learning Program is on an online learning option through Weld RE-1 allows students to remain Weld RE-1 students and receive district support and services with online learning, extracurricular, or inter-scholastic athletics.

Valley K-12 Virtual Learning Program uses the Colorado Digital Learning Solutions (CDLS) platform to deliver standards-aligned, teacher-led online instruction for students in grades K-12. CDLS is a state-supported supplemental online learning provider staffed by Colorado-licensed teachers.

Valley K-12 Virtual Learning Program is:

  • A district-support learning option
  • Aligned to Colorado Academic Standards
  • Designed to supplement and support Weld RE-1 graduation and promotion requirements
  • Intended for students who benefit from flexible, online learning environment while remaining connected to district supports
  • CDLS Overview Video
  • All CDLS online courses are paid for by Weld RE-1
