What is Valley K-12 Virtual Learning Program?
Valley K-12 Virtual Learning Program is on an online learning option through Weld RE-1 allows students to remain Weld RE-1 students and receive district support and services with online learning, extracurricular, or inter-scholastic athletics.
Valley K-12 Virtual Learning Program uses the Colorado Digital Learning Solutions (CDLS) platform to deliver standards-aligned, teacher-led online instruction for students in grades K-12. CDLS is a state-supported supplemental online learning provider staffed by Colorado-licensed teachers.
Valley K-12 Virtual Learning Program is:
- A district-support learning option
- Aligned to Colorado Academic Standards
- Designed to supplement and support Weld RE-1 graduation and promotion requirements
- Intended for students who benefit from flexible, online learning environment while remaining connected to district supports
- CDLS Overview Video
- All CDLS online courses are paid for by Weld RE-1
