Dear Viking Families,

We are excited to share that online open enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year.

As part of our enrollment options, families may now choose our new K–12 fully online school, designed for students who thrive in a flexible, virtual learning environment. We also offer full-day preschool available at Platteville Elementary and half-day preschool options available at Platteville and Pete Mirich Elementary Schools.

Weld RE-1 offers learning options to meet the needs of every student including:

● In-Person Learning (PK–12) – In-person academic excellence in every classroom.

● Hybrid (9–12) – The best of both in-person and online learning

● Fully Online (K–12) – Learn anytime, anywhere. Weld RE-1 is partnering with Colorado Digital Learning Solutions (CDLS) to provide access to high-quality online coursework and instruction. Through this partnership, students will enroll directly with Weld RE-1 and access all CDLS curriculum and teaching staff through a satellite campus within the district.
