    We rely on the generosity of our community to fulfill our mission. Whether you’d like to make a donation, volunteer, or become a partner, your support makes a difference in the lives of Weld RE-1 students and staff.

    Staff Scholarship Fund

    The purpose of the Staff Scholarship Fund is to assist employees of Weld County School District RE-1 to continue their education through higher education opportunities leading to job related skills-based program certificates of completion (support staff only), undergraduate degrees and graduate degrees in areas related to their employment in Weld County School District RE-1. Degree programs include Associate (support staff only), Bachelor, Master, Specialist and Doctorate. All applicants must be enrolled and currently attending a state accredited agency/institution and working to complete their program.

    Student Scholarship Funds

    Billie John Hasenkamp Scholarship - The Billie John Hasenkamp Scholarship is intended to honor the memory of Valley High School graduate Billie John Hasenkamp.  Billie was a member of the first graduating class from Valley High School in 1961.  In addition, he was the first editor of the Valley High School Yearbook.  Billie John Hasenkamp spent a career as a public-school teacher.  It is for this reason this scholarship will be granted to a Valley High School graduate that pursues a career in teaching. 

    Darrell Rains Band Scholarship Application 2024-2025 - The Darrell Rains Band Scholarship is intended to honor the many years of music education and dedication to School District RE 1 by Mr. Rains.  This scholarship is intended to financially help graduates of Valley High School who are pursuing a music major or have participated in music throughout their high school education, so they can also continue enriching the lives of students through their dedication to music.

    Valley Education Foundation Scholarship - The purpose of the Valley Education Foundation Scholarship is to recognize and reward deserving Valley High School graduates who are pursuing further education.

    Education Assistance Fund

    Dedicated to enhancing the educational experience at Weld RE-1 schools through financial support for:

    • School Building Projects: Funding improvements that create vibrant, engaging learning environments.
    • Classroom Project Assistance: Supporting innovative classroom initiatives and materials that enrich student learning.
    • Student Assistance Program: Offering aid to students in need, ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities.
