About
Weld RE-1 School District
Superintendent’s Office\ Dear Weld RE-1 Families,
Welcome to Weld RE-1. I am honored to serve as your Superintendent in our small, rural community—a place where agriculture, close bonds, and a strong sense of belonging define who we are. Our commitment to being student- and family-centered remains unwavering as we work together to foster academic excellence and personal growth across our schools.
Our New Motto and Guiding Principles
Our district motto is Viking Strong, United As One! This motto embodies our collective spirit and determination as we move forward together. In support of this vision, our guiding principles are as follows:
Vision:
Together, we are preparing lifelong learners for a changing world.
Mission:
We provide a challenging, inclusive, and safe learning environment where every student is equipped to become a contributing member of their greater community.
Values/Beliefs:
- We value the unique qualities and diversity within our district and celebrate the strengths of our rural community.
- We commit to equipping each student to reach their full potential through diverse and challenging opportunities.
- We believe in cultivating a lifelong love of learning by focusing on the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.
- We partner with the community to build strong relationships, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and values needed for lifelong success in an ever-changing world.
- We prioritize student safety as the foundation of all our efforts, ensuring every child feels secure, supported, and ready to learn.
Together, we are dedicated to providing our students with the tools they need to succeed, not only in the classroom but in life. I look forward to working alongside you to continue fostering an environment where our students are inspired, engaged, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.
